Review Your Rental

Review Your Rental is a website that allows Tenants to read and add reviews for any rental property in the world, and allows Landlords to list their property via photos and features so as soon as the property becomes available interested Tenants will be ready to move in immediately.

Review Your Rental was launched in October 2009.

You can add a property via the Add Property page

If an address you entered is incorrect, or you spot an existing property with a wrong address, then let us know by emailing ChangeAddress@ReviewYourRental.com Tell us the incorrect address (so we can find the current property) and the new correct address.

After logging in, click on the menu My Account (or click your name in the top right) and click "My Account" on the left menu. The list will show all the properties you have added.

Someone who buys a listing for a property automatically becomes the Landlord for that property. Only a genuine Landlord should buy a listing. To purchase a listing for a specific property and thus becoming the Landlord, visit the Add Property page.

This is a very rare case, but someone may have bought a listing for a property even though they were not the Landlord. If you are the actual Landlord then let us know immediately. Please email through two scanned letters with evidence showing you are the actual Landlord to LandlordDispute@ReviewYourRental.com and we will deal with the issue.

Only a Landlord can add photos/features/description. If you are a Landlord of a property, see the Landlords page for more information.

To edit one of your reviews, go to My Account by clicking "My Account" from the top menu or clicking your name in the top right corner. Then press My Reviews from the left menu. For each property you have reviewed, you will see a button under the "Action" column.

Please email us immediately at ContactUs@ReviewYourRental.com detailing the property address. We thank you for helping us keep the site clean and professional.

Go to "My Account" by clicking My Account from the top menu or clicking your name in the top right corner. Then press My Reviews from the left menu. This will display a list of all properties you have reviewed.

If you are a Landlord of a property and you genuinely believe the Average Rating for your property is unjustified, you can hide the average rating via a Gold Listing. See the Landlords page for more information.

Yes. You can list your property for free indefinitely by visiting the Add Property page. You can list the address, number of bedrooms, and number of bathrooms.

Yes. You can upgrade an existing listing at any time. For example you can upgrade from Bronze to Silver or Gold even if you have had the Bronze listing running for only a few months.

Go to "My Account" by clicking My Account from the top menu or clicking your name in the top right corner. Then press My Listings from the left menu. This will display a list of all properties you own a listing for. Under the "Action" column in the table, hover the mouse cursor over the buttons of which one will show "Upgrade Account". If you already own a Gold listing then you will not have the option of upgrading it as Gold is the best listing type there is.

You will only be charged the difference in price for the time remaining.

Yes. You can extend your listing at any point in time. The listing expiry date will be increased.

Go to "My Account" by clicking My Account from the top menu or clicking your name in the top right corner. Then press My Listings from the left menu. This will display a list of all properties you own a listing for. Under the "Action" column in the table, hover the mouse cursor over the buttons of which one will show "Renew Listing". If you already own a Gold listing then you will not have the option of upgrading it as Gold is the best listing type there is.

You pay the normal price for the listing type (Bronze, Silver, Gold). You can extend a listing as many times as you like to lock in todays price and to make sure your listing does not expire for a long time to come. Please refer to the Listing Types page for pricing information.

You can extend a listing by a year as many times as you like, even by several years in one go. The advantage of extending the listing now by several years is if listing prices rise in the future due to new features being added, you won't have to pay any extra and you will receive all the new features for free.

Bronze/Silver/Gold listings will continue to receive new features as Review Your Rental grows. While you own a listing, you will receive all new features for free. If listing prices rise due to new features, you will not be charged extra while you own an listing. However, once your listing expires and you either buy a new one or extend it, you will have to pay the new price. A good way to get around potential price rises is to extend a listing by several years in one go so that way you can fix in todays price and receive all new features for free for many years to come.

Payments are handled securely by Paypal, the worlds leading payment merchant with over 150 million signed-up accounts. Paypal will take care of all credit card, debit cards and payment processing so Review Your Rental never receives or processes your credit card or payment details. You do not have to have a Paypal account to purchase listings for Review Your Rental as Paypal can process credit cards without you requiring a Paypal account.

Paypal uses the highest level of encryption to keep your payment details 100% secure. Paypal verifies you Internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher. Your information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the highest level commercially available). Your personal information is stored on Paypal servers and heavily guarded both physically and electronically. For further information on Payment security, visit Paypal Security Centre.

Yes. You will receive a payment invoice from Paypal detailing your purchase. In some countries you may find you can legitimately claim the Review Your Rental listing costs as a business/investment expense (seek advice from your accountant / tax-advisor for full clarification).

No problem. Go to the Review Your Rental home page and press the "Forgot password" link. Click the link and enter your email address. Your password will be emailed to you.

Go to "My Account" by clicking "My Account" from the top menu or clicking your name in the top right corner. From the My Account screen, you can change your Email Address, Display Name, or password. In order to change any information, you must enter your current password. This stops someone changing your personal information in case you leave your PC unattended while your are logged in to Review Your Rental.

Go to "My Account" by clicking "My Account" from the top menu or clicking your name in the top right corner. Within the "My Account" screen you can change your password.

Go to "My Account" by clicking "My Account" from the top menu or clicking your name in the top right corner. Within the "My Account" screen you can update your Email address. Note that your account will be locked and a validation email will be sent to the new email address. You must click on the validation link emailed to you in order to re-activate the account with the new email address.
